What you get

Fresh listings

Questions

Is it free?

Yes, there is no charge. A few clearly labelled ads in the job list, on job pages and on articles keep it free. They appear only if you allow them, never in your shortlist, and never affect how jobs are ranked.

How do you make money?

Brightspark is built to run cheaply, on free job sources and without paid AI, so it can stay free while we grow. What it does cost, mainly servers and hosting, is paid for by a few clearly labelled Google AdSense ads in the job list, on job pages and on articles, shown only if you allow them. We never sell your data, and nobody can pay to change your match scores or where a job appears in your list.

Who can sign up?

Anyone aged 18 or older with a Google account (Gmail, or a work address on Google Workspace). Sign up with Google and you get your ranked list straight away.

Which roles and places?

Tech roles in Bengaluru and remote roles open to India: DevOps and SRE, security, AI/ML, cloud, and any role family you define yourself.

Is my data private?

Your profile, notes and shortlist are visible only to you. Nothing is sold, and analytics and ads load only if you allow them. Ads never change your scores. You can delete your account and data at any time from Settings.

Where do the jobs come from?

Two places, and every job is labelled with which. Career sites of employers we've chosen to track, from global tech companies to Indian startups; and open remote-job boards such as Himalayas, where any company can post. We choose which career sites to collect from, but we don't check individual listings or employers, so always confirm a role on the employer's own website. We never scrape LinkedIn or Naukri, and we respect each site's rules for automated access.

Disclaimer

Please read this carefully and proceed with caution.

  • Brightspark collects jobs from two kinds of source, and labels each job with which: the careers sites of employers we have chosen to collect from, and open job boards, where any company can post. Choosing which careers sites to collect from is the only selection we make: we do not check individual listings or employers. Check every posting on the company’s own careers site before you apply.
  • Be aware of job scams. A genuine employer will never ask you to pay a fee for an application, interview, training, equipment or an offer letter, and will not ask for bank details, OTPs or ID documents before a formal offer.
  • Proceed with caution when sharing personal information, and report suspicious postings to the platform that published them or at cybercrime.gov.in.
